📋 Description

• Lead and develop an APAC regional network engineering team of 2–5 junior/mid-to-senior network engineers • Own regional task planning, backlog prioritization, change review governance, and end-to-end execution • Drive the launch and deployment of new data centers and customers • Coach team members and create personalized career roadmaps • Establish a culture of ownership, engineering excellence, runbook documentation, and Git-driven automation • Serve as the regional escalation point for production network incidents • Co-own follow-the-sun operational handoffs and incident coverage with EMEA and US network teams • Serve as primary regional network owner for APAC datacenter operations and site expansion teams • Coordinate with global network architecture and R&D to adapt standards to APAC requirements • Drive regional connectivity delivery involving submarine cables, cross-border DCI circuits, Internet Exchanges, and transit providers • Coordinate site bring-up, Day-0 out-of-band readiness, and high-throughput fabric availability • Own APAC network infrastructure readiness, capacity, and availability • Design, deploy, and operate data center fabrics and backbone infrastructure • Support high-performance Ethernet-based GPU cluster interconnects • Troubleshoot critical infrastructure incidents and perform root-cause analysis • Oversee network automation, tooling, telemetry, and observability development • Spend approximately 50–70% of the first year on hands-on engineering

🎯 Requirements

• Expert-level background in service provider and/or data center Clos networks • Expertise in BGP, IS-IS, Segment Routing (SR-MPLS / SRv6), and advanced traffic balancing • Expertise in Ethernet switching, EVPN-VXLAN architectures, and L3 VPNs • Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Lead/Staff Engineer, or People Manager leading mid-to-senior engineering teams • Experience with Juniper, Arista, Cisco, and NVIDIA vendor ecosystems • Hands-on experience with GPU cluster, RoCEv2/ECN, or InfiniBand networks is a bonus • Understanding of public cloud networking models and SDN overlays is a bonus • Proficiency in Python or Go for infrastructure automation and production tooling in Linux environments is a bonus • Must be authorized to work in the country in which they apply and provide proof of employment eligibility
