📋 Description

• Design and build large-scale rendering systems for modern web applications • Develop browser-based rendering infrastructure capable of executing complex JavaScript applications reliably • Research how modern frontend frameworks render and deliver content • Improve rendering quality, completeness, and performance across diverse websites • Optimize rendering cost, latency, resource utilization, and throughput at internet scale • Translate rendering research into reliable production systems • Build systems that transform modern web applications into high-quality structured content for search and AI • Work on browser rendering, JavaScript execution, and large-scale infrastructure processing billions of pages efficiently

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer working on production backend or infrastructure systems • Expert in several relevant browser rendering and web application technologies • Knowledge of browser rendering • Knowledge of Chromium rendering pipeline, including DOM, Layout, Paint, and Compositing • Knowledge of JavaScript execution inside browsers, rendering lifecycle, and page readiness • Experience with headless browser execution and browser instrumentation • Experience with Chrome DevTools Protocol (CDP) • Experience with Playwright, Puppeteer, Selenium, or similar frameworks • Knowledge of modern frontend architectures, including React, Vue, Angular, and Svelte • Knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR), client-side rendering (CSR), and streaming rendering • Knowledge of single-page applications (SPA) and Progressive Web Apps (PWA) • Knowledge of resource loading, lazy loading, and modern JavaScript bundles • Coding interview required as part of the process • Applicants must be authorized to work in the country in which they apply and provide proof of employment eligibility
