📋 Description

• Administration of the server farm and IT infrastructure • Planning, installation, configuration and administration of complex Linux server environments • Ensuring system availability through troubleshooting and incident resolution • On-call duty (compensated) • Independently creating concepts and implementing them • Customer support (2nd Level, 3rd Level) via e-mail, phone and ticketing system

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of common Linux distributions (Debian, Ubuntu, Red Hat, CentOS) • Strong knowledge of server services (web servers, database servers, mail servers, DNS) • Good knowledge of Windows Server operating systems is desirable • Good knowledge of network and encryption technologies (TCP/IP, IPsec, OpenVPN, SSL, firewalls, high availability, load balancing) • Business-fluent German (C1 GER) required for daily communication • Good command of English • Experience with virtualization technologies from vendors such as VMware, Proxmox, Virtuozzo • Experience with server management interfaces (Plesk, Virtuozzo Automator, Confixx)
