📋 Description

• Plan, implement, and manage the overall security strategy for managed customers • Handle security incidents independently and drive them to resolution • Work with colleagues on security projects and contribute to process, technology, and security-awareness best practices • Maintain and improve deployed security technologies, including creating use cases and customizing or configuring tools based on threats • Proactively identify potential issues, provide detailed reporting, and remain available until issues are resolved • Contribute to the SOC’s 24/7 defensive capabilities • Analyze SIEM logs and other sources to create reports and prepare for suspicious events or malicious activity • Perform penetration testing and vulnerability scanning • Manage and track remediation of identified vulnerable systems • Interact with local and international colleagues from technical and non-technical backgrounds

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of Information Security experience • Working experience with integration with different security systems and devices • 2+ years coding and scripting experience in Python, Linux shell scripting or Windows Powershell scripting • Working experience and knowledge of SOAR platforms and solutions • 2–4 years of systems analysis • Working knowledge of Linux and syslog from CLI • Experience with computer network/application penetration testing and techniques • Proven ability and experience performing moderately complex security analysis for information technology • Excellent writing and communications skills in English • Familiarization with information and network security tools including Azure Sentinel SIEM, QRadar SIEM, Splunk, McAfee Security Suite, Cisco IDS/IPS, Tenable Nessus, and Palo Alto • Familiarization with Network Access Control software such as Cisco ISE and ForeScout • SQL or KQL knowledge is considered an advantage • Operational knowledge of API is considered an advantage • Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems or related field is preferred • Background and experience necessary to obtain industry or SOC-specific certifications as instructed by management • Availability for Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM Central Time, with on-call participation; shifts may rotate or change based on support coverage requirements
