📋 Description

• Diagnose complex data warehouse ETL processes, business logic failures and data flows, to quickly resolve issues • Manage large-scale processing systems and institute scalable data solutions • Conceptualize and generate infrastructure that allows big data to be accessed and analyzed • Develop and maintain technical specification documentation for all reports and processes • Construct dataset procedures that enable data mining, modeling, and production

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Informatics, or any other closely related field • 2 - 5 years’ experience in data engineering • Experience in logical and physical database design • Knowledge of data management concepts (e.g., permissions, recovery, security, and monitoring) • Experience processing large amounts of structured and unstructured data, including integrating data from multiple sources • Experience with relational & non-relational databases (SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, MongoDB, etc.) • Ability to solve complex networking, data, and software issues • Excellent command of the English language both written and spoken • Military obligations fulfilled, if applicable • Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, dbt, BigQuery, Microsoft Fabric (Desirable) • Experience with Spark, or the Hadoop ecosystem and similar frameworks (Desirable) • Knowledge of Python, Kafka, Scala or Java, and a willingness to learn new programming languages to meet goals and objectives (Desirable) • Prior working experience in telecommunications (Desirable)
