📋 Description

• Design, build, and deploy scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines using Python and Java on Google Cloud Platform • Develop new backend capabilities primarily in Python • Maintain and enhance existing Java services • Integrate AI/LLM capabilities into backend applications and support AI-driven workflows • Modernize and optimize cloud infrastructure for high availability, scalability, and reliability • Use GitHub Copilot and other AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and code quality • Identify, prioritize, and remediate security vulnerabilities • Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices • Maintain high test coverage and produce clear technical documentation • Collaborate with product, data, and infrastructure teams to deliver backend solutions

🎯 Requirements

• 5–8+ years of professional backend engineering experience • Strong Python development skills • Solid experience with Java • Hands-on experience building scalable backend services, REST APIs, and data pipelines using Python and Java • Deep expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native architectures • Experience designing and maintaining microservices and distributed systems • Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI/ML backend integration patterns • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot • Application Security (AppSec) experience identifying and remediating codebase and dependency vulnerabilities • Strong written and verbal English proficiency • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
