📋 Description

• Maintain and refresh daily Food Cost reporting processes. • Export and analyze Nexus receiving data for month-to-date and trailing 30-day periods. • Create pivot tables and identify top ingredients by quantity and invoice value. • Import and reconcile food revenue, cover counts, average food check, and POS food sales data. • Generate property-facing reports in newsletter, dashboard, or Power BI formats. • Validate report accuracy through QA procedures and archive reporting outputs. • Analyze year-to-date purchasing data and calculate weighted week-over-week ingredient pricing changes. • Maintain ingredient price trend dashboards, monitor pricing exceptions, and report cost variances. • Maintain ingredient master databases for recipe costing and menu management applications. • Use AI-assisted tools to parse and standardize ingredient descriptions, pack sizes, units of measure, and case quantities. • Update centralized ingredient databases and ensure consistency across multiple properties. • Maintain monthly F&B reporting dashboards and refresh Office Connect templates and data models. • Update forecast versions and fiscal years, validate financial metrics, troubleshoot refresh and schema issues, and publish approved Power BI updates. • Maintain issue logs and reconciliation records. • Maintain competitive menu benchmarking databases across defined competitive sets. • Collect, standardize, and update menu information and support competitive pricing and product analysis. • Publish benchmarking results through Power BI and executive reports. • Ensure recurring reports have documented refresh procedures, QA steps, ownership, archived records, error tracking, escalation procedures, and consistent formatting. • Deliver recurring reports accurately and on time while reducing manual effort through automation and improving F&B data quality.

🎯 Requirements

• Enterprise-level Food & Beverage experience is required. • Direct experience supporting multi-unit, multi-property, or enterprise-scale F&B operations, including reporting, analytics, menu engineering, inventory management, cost controls, or business intelligence functions. • Experience limited to a single restaurant or small independent operation is unlikely to meet the requirements. • Advanced Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, and formulas. • SQL querying and data extraction. • Power BI development and administration. • Power Query and DAX. • Microsoft Office Suite. • Google Sheets and Google Apps Script. • Data validation and reconciliation techniques. • Business reporting and dashboard development. • Experience with Nexus Purchasing System. • Experience with Micros iQuery preferred. • Experience with POS Reporting Systems. • Experience with Office Connect. • Experience with Power BI Service and Workspace Management. • Experience with Google Workspace. • Experience with hospitality F&B systems and reporting platforms. • Experience with ChatGPT or equivalent AI tools. • Experience with data parsing and standardization workflows. • Experience with report automation and workflow optimization. • Knowledge of API and scheduled data refresh concepts preferred. • 3+ years of reporting, business intelligence, or financial analysis experience. • Hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or food service industry experience preferred. • Experience with purchasing, inventory, recipe costing, or menu analytics data. • Understanding of food cost controls, menu engineering, and F&B operational metrics. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • High attention to detail. • Excellent data accuracy and quality control practices. • Ability to manage multiple recurring deadlines. • Strong written and visual reporting skills. • Process improvement mindset. • Ability to work independently in a remote/offshore environment.
