NextCISO is a workforce development and apprenticeship program focused on training and elevating women and BIPOC professionals into cybersecurity leadership roles (future CISOs). The program emphasizes Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) as an entry point, provides a six-month curriculum with hands-on client projects, prepares participants for certifications (e. g. , CCSK, ISO 27001), and teaches applied security audit skills, privacy, leadership, communication, and practical project-management abilities. It partners with educators and industry organizations for curriculum, mentorship, certification access, and job placement, aiming to address the cybersecurity skills shortage and improve diversity and inclusion in security leadership.
