📋 Description

• Proactively monitor the technical operations of Akamai's network within the EMEA territory • Optimize resource utilization to meet customer requirements • Maintain traffic flow and deliver value for network partners in the geography • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, network partners, and ISPs to troubleshoot and resolve network and performance issues • Manage escalations from Service Performance, Network Account Managers, Network Operations, and other groups • Collaborate with team members and network architects on traffic optimization, enhancements, and improvements • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Internet infrastructure across the region

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field • Experience with application-level protocols and IP security • Knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, SSL, BGP, and OSPF • Comfortable working in a Linux/Unix-like environment • Action-oriented, with ability to identify areas for innovation and improvement • CCNP or equivalent experience
