📋 Description

• Pursue original security research to discover vulnerabilities, uncover attack techniques, and strengthen protection for the modern workspace • Reverse-engineer software for product support and vulnerability research • Design experiments and develop proofs of concept and tools to validate findings • Translate attack techniques into detections and validate their effectiveness • Publish research and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences • Track emerging AI platform, browser, IDE, and desktop capabilities and test for attack paths or detection gaps • Independently lead complex research projects from initial question through validation and publication

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in security research, vulnerability research, or reverse engineering • Understanding of operating system internals • Ability to independently lead complex research projects from concept to publication • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to communicate complex technical findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences • Hands-on experience with debugging and software analysis tools • Ability to investigate unfamiliar applications independently • Ability to learn unfamiliar technologies and develop testable research hypotheses quickly • Nice to have: published research such as technical blogs, CVEs, or conference talks • Nice to have: coding skills for research tools, analysis automation, or proofs of concept • Nice to have: experience translating research findings into detections, validating effectiveness, and investigating false positives
