📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain backend security services for a large-scale active API scanning platform • Drive system architecture, technical design, and code reviews for new and existing features • Implement security products that protect businesses online • Contribute to core engineering efforts for Akamai's Active Testing product • Help identify API vulnerabilities early in application development and support a Shift-Left Security Strategy

🎯 Requirements

• Good experience in object-oriented software development • 4+ years of experience in backend development using TypeScript and NodeJS • 4+ years of experience working with Linux-based systems • 4+ years of expertise in HTTP communication protocols and/or experience in the cybersecurity domain • Experience with one of: Postgres, AWS, Docker, K8S • Passion for debugging and solving complex problems • Versatility and ability to learn and become proficient in new subjects quickly
