📋 Description

• Build the routing overlay and derivative products • Design, implement, review, document, and test high-quality code and networking configurations • Collaborate closely with the team • Work with global peers to build new features, address bugs, and drive consensus on technical solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with mainstream programming languages such as Go or C/C++ • Strong familiarity with L3 networking, including BGP and dynamic routing • Experience with tunneling; EVPN, VxLAN, or SRv6 is a plus • Very good understanding of Linux networking internals • Hands-on experience with containerization such as Docker and virtualization • Hands-on experience with large-scale distributed systems and architecture • Experience communicating with leadership and non-developer stakeholders • Ability to work productively with team members to identify and resolve issues collaboratively • Experience in technical design, product specification reviews, projects, and backlog planning • Open-source routing daemon suites such as FRR or GoBGP are nice-to-have • Cloud computing experience is nice-to-have • Observability with Prometheus and Grafana is nice-to-have • Infrastructure as Code with Ansible or Terraform is nice-to-have • Containerlab and CI/CD setups such as Jenkins are nice-to-have • Providing guidance and mentoring to developers or testers is nice-to-have
