📋 Description

• Create sales opportunities by managing the pre-sales technical process and demonstrating Akamai technology to customers • Manage the technical proposal process and ensure technical information and recommendations addressing customer requirements are accurate • Track account activity for business analysis and reporting • Design technical solutions to meet customer needs • Lead sales activities including Technical Demos, Customer Analysis Reports (CARs), and Proofs of Concept (POCs) • Maximize customer satisfaction, retention, and growth based on customer needs and business requirements • Act as customers' trusted advisor and technical expert • Collaborate with sales partners to facilitate product adoption and account growth

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3 years working in a customer-facing or consulting role in technical pre-sales, sales engineering, or post-sales • High School / Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or another related field • Understanding of internet technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP(S), and APIs • Experience or interest in DevOps, Media, or Internet Security • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills • Ability to communicate complex technical content to a range of audiences • Ability to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast-changing environment
