📋 Description
• Design, test, manufacture, installation, maintenance and application of equipment, devices, and systems which use electricity and electronics. • Identify, analyze and resolve deficiencies and challenging problems during product development process using simulations, prototype testing, and feasibility studies. • Prepare technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, or topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements. • Consult with engineers, customers, or others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects or products. • May estimate labor, material, or construction costs for budget preparation purposes. • Responsible for defining, designing, testing, documenting, and releasing new products for Nordson Electronic Solutions.
🎯 Requirements
• Requires a BS Electrical Engineering degree plus 4 – 7 years of experience or equivalent relevant experience. • SolidWorks design experience or equivalent is required. • Experience with sensors, measuring devices, control systems, and automation is preferred. • Stage-gate & project management experience is preferred. • Experience developing & launching new products is a plus. • Experience with customer interactions and factory visits is a plus. • Experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning system, SAP is a plus.
