📋 Description

• Create, optimize, and maintain SAP CDS Views to structure business rules and expose S/4HANA data • Develop and expose RESTful services and OData V2 and V4 APIs using SAP RAP for synchronous read and write integrations • Customize and extend standard S/4HANA APIs using Key User Extensibility and Developer Extensibility • Develop ABAP customizations, ABAP Objects classes, BAdIs, function modules, and Z objects using Eclipse/ABAP Development Tools • Implement and monitor error handling, Application Log entries, and failure management • Monitor interfaces, analyze production failures, reprocess messages, and handle incidents through root-cause resolution • Prepare API contracts and technical specifications • Collaborate with Product and Architecture teams on refinement and solution definition • Participate in technical refinements, estimation, and solution definition with Architecture, Product, and business teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field • Proven mid-level experience in ABAP development, including hands-on work with integration scenarios and data exposure • Experience in an SAP S/4HANA environment, with an understanding of the extensibility model and Clean Core guidelines • Proficiency with Eclipse and ABAP Development Tools (ADT) • Strong foundation in object-oriented ABAP programming, including classes, interfaces, inheritance, class-based exceptions, and component reuse • Creation of SAP CDS Views, including annotations, associations, projection and consumption views, parameters, and performance considerations • Knowledge of the SAP RAP framework, including Behavior Definition, Behavior Implementation, managed and unmanaged scenarios, actions, validations, determinations, Service Definition, and Service Binding • Experience with OData V2 and V4 APIs, including modeling, exposure, consumption, filtering, pagination, batch operations, and error handling • Knowledge of S/4HANA extensibility, including Key User Extensibility, Developer Extensibility, BAdIs, released extension points, and objects with release contracts • Development of Z customizations, including Z programs, Z function modules, Z classes, and Z tables • Modern ABAP SQL and best practices for code pushdown to HANA • Data modeling and SQL for investigating and reconciling information across systems • Experience with coding assistants such as Claude Assistant or similar tools • Experience with ABAP Cloud and Embedded Steampunk (SAP BTP ABAP Environment) • SAP certifications in ABAP development for S/4HANA or ABAP Cloud • Knowledge of SAP PI/PO or SAP Integration Suite (BTP) • Experience integrating with SAP ECC using SAP PI/PO or SAP Integration Suite • Programming experience in complementary languages such as .NET or Java • Familiarity with e-commerce and/or marketplace architectures • Familiarity with private clouds such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
