📋 Description

• Maintenance and continuous improvement of production testing setups, jigs, mechanical enclosures, and assembly tooling • Own and enforce maintenance/calibration processes across all products and contract manufacturing locations • Perform data-driven analysis of test equipment limits (mating cycles, cable wear) • Escort new products through mechanical readiness achievements — from prototype through V&V station approval to large-scale manufacturing • Provide hands-on technical support to global CMs (Flex Israel, Jabil India, Foxconn Vietnam) • Conduct structured quality audits at manufacturing sites focused on mechanical processes, fixture condition, and maintenance compliance • Review and process Engineering Change Orders related to fixtures, mechanical assemblies, and production tooling

🎯 Requirements

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent • 3+ years of experience working as a mechanical engineer in a production/manufacturing environment • Hands-on experience with fixture and jig design for electronics manufacturing or test • Strong ability to read, interpret, and review mechanical drawings and assembly drawings • Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (Creo Parametric / SolidWorks / similar) • Knowledge of maintenance and calibration processes in high-volume manufacturing • Experience working alongside contract manufacturers or EMS providers • Strong analytical skills — data-driven limit analysis and evaluation of potential hazards • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
