📋 Description

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, travel expenses, and fixed asset accounting • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB, IFRS, and US GAAP • Support the implementation and ongoing development of dual accounting and reporting under IFRS and US GAAP, ensuring seamless reconciliation between local GAAP (HGB) and international standards • Prepare financial reports and perform analytical reviews to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial partners throughout audits and statutory reporting processes • Assist with VAT returns, tax filings, and other regulatory reporting requirements • Drive the continuous improvement, automation, and digitalization of accounting processes

🎯 Requirements

• Educational background in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field • Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting, ideally in an international MedTech, Life Sciences, or high-growth technology company • Strong knowledge of HGB and IFRS or US GAAP, ideally with experience in dual reporting environments or international accounting standards • Experience in preparing financial statements and coordinating external audits • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills • Analytical, detail-oriented, and hands-on with a structured way of working • Solid understanding of internal control frameworks • Excellent communication skills in English; German is considered an advantage • Willingness to relocate to Ulm or travel at least once per month
