📋 Description

• Collaborate with data leaders across sales, recruiting, account management, consulting, and operations • Lead Databricks projects as part of the Databricks Center of Excellence • Act as a Databricks subject matter expert and support business development • Guide clients on architecture, data engineering, scalable analytics, and Databricks best practices • Lead and manage project risk, planning, budgeting, deliverables, and executive-level alignment • Develop proposals, statements of work, and account-growth strategies • Provide technical and architectural guidance on Databricks, modern data platforms, and cloud-native solutions • Mentor team members and recommend emerging technologies and tools • Develop and oversee large-scale data architecture projects using Databricks, Delta Lake, Delta Live Tables, and Unity Catalog • Provide strategic direction to engineering teams • Advise clients on digital transformation and data strategy • Lead Databricks implementation sales and pre-sales pursuits as Sales Solution Lead or Lead Architect • Lead large Databricks migration and modernization delivery engagements as Delivery Solution Lead

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture • Minimum of 6+ years of extensive hands-on experience with Databricks • Experience with Delta Lake, Delta Live Tables, and Unity Catalog • Mastery of Big Data Platforms, Cloud Data Warehouses, and Object-Oriented Programming • Expertise in NoSQL Databases, Container Management Systems, and AI/ML tools • Understanding of Databricks platform and governance capabilities • Experience designing data and AI platform solutions • Experience delivering large-scale migration and modernization initiatives from legacy Data Warehouses to Databricks Lakehouse platform • Databricks Data Engineering Professional certification completed is ideal • Experience leading multiple complex Databricks project deliveries
