📋 Description

• Identify potential acquisition targets and assess them strategically together with the CEO and Finance team • Systematically build deal flow through direct outreach, brokers, networks, and customer and agency partners • Maintain a structured deal pipeline • Engage directly with the owners and management teams of potential target companies • Prepare company valuations, including using DCF and multiple-based approaches, as well as business cases • Support commercial, legal, and tax due diligence • Prepare for and support negotiations of term sheets, LOIs, and purchase agreements • Support transactions from origination through signing and closing • Support post-acquisition integration planning • Develop a reusable post-merger integration playbook

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in M&A, investment banking, transaction services, corporate finance, or strategy consulting • Completed degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a comparable field • Strong knowledge of company valuation and financial modeling • Understanding of SaaS metrics such as ARR, Net Revenue Retention, churn, and CAC • Experience with buy-and-build models or software deals is a strong plus • Experience conducting or supporting due diligence processes • Strong negotiation skills and confident communication with managing directors and business owners • Independent, structured working style with a high degree of initiative • Ideally, an established network in the software, hosting, or agency sectors—or the ability to build one quickly • Excellent German and English skills
