📋 Description

• Identify potential acquisition targets and assess them strategically in collaboration with the CEO and Finance team • Build deal flow through direct outreach, brokers, networks, and the customer and agency partner ecosystem • Systematically manage and track the deal pipeline • Engage directly with the owners and management teams of potential target companies • Prepare company valuations, including DCF and multiples-based methods, as well as business cases • Support commercial, legal, and tax due diligence in coordination with internal and external advisors • Prepare and support negotiations of term sheets, LOIs, and purchase agreements together with the CEO • Support transactions from initial outreach through signing and closing • Support post-acquisition integration planning • Develop a reusable post-merger integration playbook together with the team

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in M&A, investment banking, transaction services, corporate finance, or strategy consulting • Completed degree in business, finance, economics, or a comparable field • Strong knowledge of company valuation and financial modeling • Understanding of SaaS metrics such as ARR, net revenue retention, churn, and CAC • Experience with buy-and-build models or software deals is a strong plus • Experience conducting or supporting due diligence processes • Confident negotiator with strong communication skills when interacting with executives and business owners • Independent, structured working style with a high degree of initiative in proactively approaching targets • Ideally, an established network in the software, hosting, or agency sectors—or the ability to build one quickly • Fluent in German and English
