📋 Description

• Lead the technical strategy for complex opportunities across Austria and parts of the DACH region • Build trusted relationships with CISOs, Heads of IT, and security architects • Translate Microsoft security capabilities into clear operational and business value • Help grow Ontinue’s footprint in Austria with strong local market understanding and global backing • Assess customer security posture, requirements, and technical requirements • Deliver presentations and live demos of Ontinue’s MXDR services • Lead technical workshops and architecture sessions • Own and drive RFP responses, including customer-facing RFP presentations • Challenge customers’ legacy or fragmented security approaches with modern, best-practice solutions • Ensure a high-quality handover of new customers to account management and delivery • Work closely with experienced Sales Executives from early discovery through solution design, RFP defence, and customer handover • Support Austrian partners and regional stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Strong technical background in cybersecurity, including Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Sentinel, and the broader Microsoft E5 Security stack • Solid understanding of identity security, endpoint security, cloud security, and network security • Experience leading customer-facing technical discussions and workshops • Familiarity with the Austrian and DACH SOC landscape • Excellent communication and presentation skills in German (native) and English • Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with sales, product, and delivery teams • Willingness to travel for customer engagements and industry events • Native German speaker • Fluent in English, written and verbal • Proven experience in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or comparable customer-facing technical role in IT security
