📋 Description

• Work directly with the founders on product and technical direction • Build and maintain the Python/Django backend powering the consumer dashboard and B2B platform • Develop new features for APIs supporting the consumer dashboard and customer reporting • Improve performance and reliability in Celery and RabbitMQ pipelines • Integrate third-party services such as Stripe and WorkOS SSO • Own features from development through production follow-up • Perform code reviews and participate in a small backend team • Begin real production work in the first week

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years building production web applications • 6+ years with Python and Django • Working knowledge of CS fundamentals: data structures, concurrency, SQL, system design • Strong written communication; comfortable working async across time zones • Self-direction and follow-through • Strong plus: DRF and/or django-ninja • Strong plus: Celery, RabbitMQ, Redis in production • Strong plus: Postgres tuning and query analysis • Strong plus: Kubernetes and AWS • Strong plus: Stripe, identity providers, or other third-party API integrations • Strong plus: HTMX, React, or both • Strong plus: Background in consumer privacy or adjacent industries • Experience getting value from AI coding assistants such as Claude Code is a plus • Candidates must be based in Latin America • Ability to work hours overlapping US Eastern, Central, Mountain, or Pacific time zones is strongly preferred • Offers are conditional on ID verification and a background check
