ORS delivers process safety, functional safety (SIL), barrier management, system reliability and availability assessments, and ICS/OT cybersecurity services to improve safety, prevent loss, and enhance production performance across sectors such as chemicals, oil & gas, power and utilities, aquaculture, green transition projects and defence. 📋 Description

• Design and develop mechanical building services systems, including HVAC, heating, cooling, ventilation, domestic water services, drainage, and renewable energy systems. • Produce mechanical calculations, schedules, specifications, reports, and technical documentation. • Prepare and modify engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Revit (BIM). • Coordinate mechanical services with electrical engineers, architects, structural engineers, and other project disciplines. • Carry out site surveys, inspections, and attend design and coordination meetings. • Respond to contractor queries and review technical submittals during construction. • Assist with commissioning activities, testing, and project handover. • Support the preparation of tender documentation, design reviews, and project documentation. • Maintain accurate project records in accordance with company quality procedures and ISO standards. • Incorporate sustainable engineering principles and renewable technologies into project designs

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. • Demonstrated experience in mechanical building services design within a consultancy or similar environment. • Experience designing HVAC and mechanical building services systems. • Ability to produce engineering calculations, specifications, and technical documentation. • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (BIM). • Good understanding of renewable energy technologies, including heat pumps. • Experience supporting commissioning, technical submittals, and handover activities. • Strong communication and organisational skills. • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Project)
