📋 Description

• Design and develop scalable, high-performance, low-latency backend services using Java and AWS technologies • Collaborate with product management, frontend, and QA teams to define technical requirements and ensure smooth platform integration • Optimize and enhance existing services for performance, reliability, and maintainability • Identify and resolve system bottlenecks and ensure optimal resource utilization and stability • Implement code quality, testing, deployment, CI/CD, and agile development best practices • Monitor backend service health and performance and mitigate potential issues • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members • Build and maintain core infrastructure powering Oscilar's SaaS platform for fraud, credit, and compliance risk decisioning

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field • 5+ years of experience in backend software development, with a focus on Java and AWS technologies • Strong experience in building and operating low latency, high scale services in a distributed environment • Proficient in Java programming, with a deep understanding of its ecosystem and related frameworks • Knowledge of microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and ClickHouse • Familiarity with RESTful API design and security best practices • Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Gradle • Experience with agile development methodologies • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Ability to work independently or as part of a team • Strong written and verbal communication skills • 8+ years of Backend experience with Java in large-scale, distributed environments • Strong experience with AWS services such as MSK, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, and Lambda • Solid understanding of distributed system design, messaging patterns, and eventual consistency • Legally authorized in the country of the position
