📋 Description

• Maintain internal bookkeeping and update financial records regularly • Record and track daily financial transactions, expenses, receipts, and payments • Maintain accurate ledgers, invoices, bills, and supporting documents • Coordinate with internal teams to collect financial information, bills, invoices, and expense details • Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and transaction records • Track accounts payable and receivable and follow up on pending payments • Prepare routine financial reports and maintain updated accounting trackers • Assist with monthly closing activities and ensure records are properly maintained • Support GST documentation, tax-related records, and other compliance requirements as applicable • Organize and maintain accounting documents for audits and future reference

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any related field • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping • Strong communication skills in Tamil and English • Knowledge of internal bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting processes • Working knowledge of accounting software such as Tally or similar tools • Proficiency in MS Excel and maintaining financial trackers • Good understanding of invoices, expenses, payments, bank reconciliation, and ledger maintenance • Strong coordination and follow-up skills to obtain information from internal teams • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills • Good written and verbal communication skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information and work independently • Candidates must be based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India
