📋 Description

• Take ownership of user problems end to end: from understanding the problem through architecture, backend and frontend development, and deployment • Validate whether solutions work in the classroom • Build agentic systems for paddy’s Agentic Operating System for Teaching & Learning • Bring AI solutions to production reliably, quickly, and cost-effectively • Develop and operate modern web applications • Design and implement systems for everyday school operations • Collaborate with the founders and the Product and Engineering teams • Work on real-world challenges and case studies, and present your results

🎯 Requirements

• At least three years of experience developing and operating modern web applications • Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, and React in a product team with real users • Experience building and operating LLM-based features or agentic systems in production • Understanding of context windows, model failure modes, RAG, vector databases, and evals • Proficiency in API design and SQL, NoSQL, and vector databases • Knowledge of containerization with Docker and Kubernetes • Knowledge of CI/CD • Not narrowly specialized; a focus on backend development and architecture is possible • Comfortable working with underspecified problems and finding simple solutions to complex questions • Experience using coding agents and modern AI tools • Fluent in German and highly proficient in English
