📋 Description

• Own solution architecture for assigned React and .NET projects • Contribute production code for complex or high-risk solution areas • Run code reviews, enforce coding standards and coach engineers • Make and document technical decisions and trade-offs • Own performance, security, accessibility, scalability and maintainability • Manage technical debt and negotiate remediation into sprint plans • Lead sprint planning, estimation and backlog refinement • Break requirements into stories and technical tasks with acceptance criteria and dependencies • Track sprint burndown, identify slippage and propose recovery options • Facilitate stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives • Maintain delivery status for PMO reporting, including RAG status, milestones, risks, issues and change requests • Manage release readiness, cutover planning, rollback provisions and hypercare arrangements • Lead and allocate work for a team of 4–8 engineers across development and QA • Onboard, mentor and develop engineers through pairing, walkthroughs and feedback • Set and monitor standards for branching, testing, documentation and definition of done • Conduct performance conversations and contribute to appraisals and development plans • Support recruitment through technical screening and interview panels • Act as technical point of contact for US and international clients • Run technical discussions and demonstrations and present recommended options • Manage scope changes through change control • Communicate proactively across time zones and build client confidence • Comply with PMO governance, documentation, stage gates, sign-offs, time recording and audit evidence • Own the engagement test strategy across unit, integration, end-to-end and UAT layers • Maintain CI/CD discipline and contribute lessons learned and reusable assets

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum five years of professional software delivery experience with React and the .NET stack • At least two years in a technical lead, lead developer or equivalent leadership capacity • Demonstrable record of leading a delivery team to release on a committed schedule • Hands-on experience working directly with international clients, with the United States preferred • Experience delivering within Agile frameworks (Scrum or Kanban) throughout the full lifecycle • Strong command of React, including hooks, component composition, state management and performance optimisation • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with modern tooling and build pipelines • Competence in HTML5, CSS3 and responsive design • Front-end testing practice using Jest, React Testing Library or comparable tooling • Strong command of C# and .NET (.NET 6 or later, and ASP.NET Core) • RESTful API design and layered or clean architecture patterns • Working knowledge of Entity Framework Core or comparable ORM and SQL Server or equivalent relational database • Practical experience with cloud services, with Azure preferred and AWS acceptable • Version control with Git and CI/CD pipeline configuration • Application security fundamentals, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and JWT • Ability to lead by influence as well as authority • Disciplined estimation, dependency management and schedule control • Clear written and spoken English sufficient for unscripted technical conversations with senior client stakeholders • Willingness and availability to work United States hours on a sustained basis • Reliable remote working setup, including stable high-speed connectivity and a quiet environment suitable for client calls
