📋 Description

• Collect, review and organise client energy, gas and utility data • Analyse electricity, gas and fuel invoices across multiple client sites • Calculate Scope 1, Scope 2 and relevant Scope 3 emissions • Prepare carbon footprint calculations and assist with Carbon Reduction Plans • Support carbon reporting for clients across a range of industries • Ensure calculations are accurate and compliant with recognised reporting standards • Maintain audit trails, supporting documentation, emissions databases and structured project files • Assist with sustainability reporting, ESG and environmental reporting projects • Research sustainability legislation, compliance requirements and regulatory updates • Prepare client reports, presentation material, charts and summaries • Extract information from utility bills, invoices and spreadsheets • Perform data quality assurance checks and identify missing or inconsistent data • Prepare proposal support documentation and assist with client project research • Support process improvement initiatives and help automate reporting workflows using AI • Take ownership of increasingly complex sustainability reporting as the business grows

🎯 Requirements

• Experience working with sustainability, ESG or environmental reporting • Experience preparing carbon calculations or emissions reporting • Strong analytical skills • Excellent attention to detail • Advanced Excel skills • Comfortable working with large datasets • Ability to interpret utility invoices and consumption data • Strong written English • Excellent organisational skills • Ability to work independently • High level of accuracy • Experience with Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol highly desirable • Knowledge of Carbon Reduction Plans (CRPs) highly desirable • Experience with Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions highly desirable • Understanding of UK sustainability legislation highly desirable • Experience preparing SECR, PPN 06/21 or similar reporting highly desirable • Knowledge of ISO 14064 or ISO 14001 highly desirable • Experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools highly desirable • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT to improve reporting workflows highly desirable
