📋 Description

• Execute precise, high-volume daily data entry into the store’s central Marlin (Megabus) point-of-sale system via remote desktop • Assist with routine financial matching and Xero bank reconciliations in coordination with the external accounting partner • Progressively assume broader administrative responsibilities under direct mentorship from the Owner • Monitor incoming social media comments and engagement across store platforms • Escalate inquiries or maintain the brand presence where appropriate • Adhere to secure IT protocols, including IP-whitelisted network environments and routine multi-factor authentication

🎯 Requirements

• Prior experience in an automotive setting, such as an auto repair workshop reception, tyre outlet, dealership operations, or auto parts procurement • Proven high-accuracy data entry, attention to detail, and methodical work habits • Tech-savvy mindset and ability to quickly learn proprietary, desktop-based POS systems • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and enterprise communication suites within a head-office framework • Ability to work autonomously from home while maintaining consistent output and clear communication with on-site management • Commitment to a long-term, stable placement • Integrity and discretion when handling sensitive financial, store, and customer data • Preferred: hands-on experience performing bank reconciliations within Xero • Preferred: experience navigating desktop systems via remote-desktop/VPN connections • Preferred: experience monitoring or moderating social media channels for small-to-medium retail or service businesses
