• Establish and maintain engineering systems, standards, and procedures. • Provide technical oversight across projects from feasibility through to construction and commissioning. • Lead technical reviews and ensure quality across engineering deliverables. • Define and improve engineering workflows, tools, and documentation systems. • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, client requirements, and regulatory codes. • Support the development and capability building of engineering teams. • Oversee and coordinate external consultants and subcontractors. • Foster a collaborative and high-performance engineering environment. • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members. • Support project delivery teams with technical input and oversight. • Contribute to planning, scoping, and technical input for proposals and tenders. • Engage with internal stakeholders, clients, and external parties as required. • Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and delivery outcomes.
• **Qualifications:** • - 12+ years of experience in electrical engineering, ideally within high-voltage or power systems. • - Previous experience in a similar senior engineering or technical leadership role. • - Strong understanding of transmission infrastructure, substations, and grid connection projects. • - Ability to review and oversee both primary and secondary engineering disciplines. • - Experience with battery energy storage systems (BESS) highly preferred. • - Familiarity with civil and electrical interface coordination in infrastructure projects. • - Proven ability to lead engineering teams and manage external consultants or contractors.
