📋 Description

• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for Australian construction projects. • Review architectural, structural, and shop drawings, specifications, and tender documents. • Perform digital take-offs using Bluebeam Revu. • Estimate PVC wall systems, including materials, accessories, and installation requirements. • Request and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations. • Prepare tender submissions, bills of quantities (BOQs), and pricing schedules. • Identify project risks, scope gaps, and cost-saving opportunities during the estimating process. • Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and clients to clarify project requirements. • Maintain estimating databases, cost libraries, and historical pricing records. • Ensure estimates comply with Australian building standards, project specifications, and company procedures. • Assist with post-tender clarifications and handover to the project delivery team.

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience as an Estimator for Australian construction projects. • Strong knowledge of Australian construction practices and tendering processes. • Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu for quantity take-offs and document markups. • Experience estimating PVC wall systems or similar interior wall/cladding products. • Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings. • Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
