• Assisting with the preparation, review, and filing of legal documents and correspondence. • Conducting legal research and compiling reports, case summaries, or briefs as needed. • Maintaining and organizing case files, contracts, and other legal records for easy access. • Supporting the legal team with client communications, scheduling, and case management. • Assisting with compliance tasks, due diligence, and other administrative legal duties. • Collaborating with attorneys and other team members to ensure smooth legal operations.
• 1–3 years of experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or in a similar legal support role. • Experience working in Australian legal practice or with Australian law is required. • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace). • Familiarity with legal practice management software (e.g., LEAP Legal, Smokeball, Clio, Actionstep, and MyCase) is a plus. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive legal information with discretion. • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work. • Experience in a remote working environment is a plus. • Flexibility to work across different time zones as needed.
