• Responsible for the financial operations, reporting rhythm, cash visibility, and key operational controls across family investment trust, Australian operating company, Australian health & wellness business with physical product / inventory, personal family budget • Work directly with the owner and external Australian accountant using Xero, ApprovalMax, and Unleashed • Run the close, the cash, the controls, and the value-creation moves cleanly across the entities plus the family budget
• 5–8 years finance + ops experience for SMEs / owner-operated businesses • Deep, current Xero across multi-entity setups (including a trust) • Strong Australian tax context — BAS, GST, super, STP, FBT — adds value to expense categorisation, not just records what's given • Demonstrated cashflow operator — managed weekly cashflow with granular detail; can point to tangible improvements (DSO, late fees, working capital) • Google Sheets fluency — can extend an existing model, not just build from scratch • Inventory exposure — reorder points, EOQ, S&OP rhythm • Analytical and proactive — pushes insights without being asked
