📋 Description

• Architect and break down ambiguous product problems into concrete, well-scoped test cases and test plans • Own quality engineering work from design through production release • Contribute to Peek’s AI-first engineering culture and document effective practices • Use AI tools such as Claude Code, Augment, or equivalent to accelerate implementation and critically review outputs • Collaborate with Product and Design to identify specification gaps and surface edge cases • Push back when a product is not ready to ship • Establish quality standards through maintainable code, thorough code reviews, and adequate test coverage • Detect bugs introduced by AI before production • Work across Peek’s operations management suite, scheduling and booking widgets, sales and support tooling, and enterprise solutions

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in QA Automation Engineering • Proven experience leading and owning automation initiatives in technology or SaaS environments • Proven experience in end-to-end test automation • Experience building and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks • Advanced experience with Playwright or similar frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium • Strong proficiency in JavaScript • Experience with BDD / Gherkin syntax and implementation • Experience designing automation frameworks from scratch • Solid understanding of API testing and end-to-end testing practices • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab CI or GitHub Actions • Strong knowledge of QA automation best practices, test design, framework maintainability, scalability, and architectural decisions • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development/testing tools such as Claude, Cursor, Augment, or similar • Strong automation-first mindset and passion for quality engineering • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative and transparent approach • Ability to work effectively across QA, Engineering, and Product teams • Curious, continuous learner with a technophile mindset • Comfortable sharing knowledge and mentoring others • Mexican work authorization required
