📋 Description

• Communicate between several departments within the Company and between client representatives and geologists • Use extensive drilling knowledge and qualifications to assist in drilling practices • Ensure maximum production and core recovery in the safest manner • Exercise duty of care in own work activities and for personnel under control • Ensure personnel comply with HSE regulations, site-specific rules, and applicable acts or regulations • Assist Drillers in training Trainee Drillers and Drillers Offsiders in correct and safe working procedures and equipment care • Understand drilling program terms and liaise with clients to ensure successful completion • Apply sound management practices and techniques within range of competence • Provide direction, leadership, management, and support for drilling and maintenance under control • Promote the company's business • Maintain high standards of personal presentation, behaviour, and conduct; check field crews' presentation

🎯 Requirements

• 7-10 years experience in multi purpose Drilling • Cert IV in Drilling Operations • Current Heavy Rigid Driver's licence • Current National Police clearance • Fatigue Management training • ICAM or equivalent WHS incident investigation training • Current Senior First Aid certificate or equivalent • Willingness to travel to remote project sites • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Sound knowledge of the Mines Safety Act and Regulations & WHS Act • Must be physically fit • Must love working outdoors • Prepared to work in all weather conditions • Prepared to work remote exploration or mine site-based rosters consisting of 4/2 and 2/1
