📋 Description

• Impact PerkinElmer sales by maintaining a high standard and professional image while demonstrating the value of customer support • Support the overall performance of the Customer Service Department through flexible, effective, and efficient teamwork • Support ICP, ICPMS, GC/LC chromatography, and associated analytical product lines within the region • Perform field service and routine maintenance using available systems in conjunction with the Regional Group Leader • Carry out repairs, maintenance, installation, and validation of instrumentation and accessories • Provide onsite user training for defined product groups • Perform service for PerkinElmer overseas offices and overseas customer sites when requested • Ensure service documentation, circuit diagrams, bulletins, and manuals are current and suitable for servicing instruments • Maintain ancillary documentation in accordance with the Quality Management System • Align working practices with department performance targets and demonstrate compliance with team targets • Maintain service spares and inventory records • Report and resolve anomalies quickly and effectively • Ensure tools and test equipment are adequate and calibrated as required • Submit completed service documentation, reports, timesheets, expense claims, and vehicle log sheets weekly • Perform specific agreed tasks defined through company Goal statements when requested

🎯 Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Science, or another suitable or compatible discipline • Minimum 3 years of experience in a related Field Service role or similar field • Full clean driving license • Professional communication with customers and colleagues at all levels • Ability to communicate orally and in writing • Negotiating and influencing skills • Understanding of excellent customer service • Ability to service ICP, ICPMS, GC/LC chromatography, and related analytical instruments
