📋 Description

• Build and maintain shared framework tooling, including distribution and installation across agent tools, shared skills and agents, lints, eval runners, and interfaces between harnesses • Support team members building and maintaining agentic tooling such as harnesses, skills, and agents • Build evals and certification so teams can prove harness changes are better before release • Move stable, rule-based steps from prompts into platform checks with Developer Experience and Platform Infrastructure teams • Collect feedback from real use, resolve root causes, and add regression tests • Drive adoption across the technology organisation by pairing with teams, training people, and measuring delivery outcomes • Suggest and implement framework improvements and help define new processes and agents • Own shared infrastructure for agentic tooling and make the framework reliable, measurable, and easy to adopt • Report directly to the CTO and work closely with the Developer Experience team

🎯 Requirements

• Deep, daily hands-on experience with a wide range of agentic tools, such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, Aider, Devin, and CodeRabbit • Experience with the infrastructure that agents run on • Agentic tooling built and used by other engineers, including skills, plugins, hooks, subagents, MCP servers, or custom agents • Experience with LLM evaluation and context engineering, including evals for non-deterministic systems, reading failure traces, and understanding context size, freshness, and consistency • 7+ years of software engineering experience on production systems, including developer tooling or an internal platform with real users • At Staff level, experience setting technical direction across several teams • Strong system design and a verification mindset • Strong Python, git, and GitHub skills, including Actions, rulesets, and CODEOWNERS • Ability to read Java and Kotlin with ease • Precise technical writing and ability to change how other engineers work without authority • Experience in a regulated environment such as payments or banking, security engineering, or maintaining an open-source project is a plus • Must be based in the UK or EU
