📋 Description

• Ensures designs comply with applicable process and process safety codes & standards/legislation • Develops and maintains knowledge and skills to address current and future project and market demands • Develops process design basis, control and safeguarding philosophies • Actively participates in reviews for design and safety • Takes ownership of design and additional department requirements • Identifies areas of concern with necessary corrective action early on to department head • Informs the Engineering Manager regarding possible (technical) problems • Escalates issues to the appropriate management level when appropriate • Closely collaborates with process engineers in other Plug Offices globally • Mentors team members on design work

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant Engineering discipline • 5-10 years of experience in process engineering • Specialized in process control or process safety • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with (International) Codes & Standards, including CE, IEC, API • Familiar with applicable functional safety standards
