📋 Description

• Own AI performance across the business • Continuously monitor, test and improve AI • Maintain and evolve the standards, tools and benchmarks for AI performance • Collaborate with product and engineering teams • Hold long-term ownership of AI cost and performance • Stay ahead of developments in AI models, tools and frameworks • Coach and upskill engineers across teams • Build a function around AI optimisation as the role grows with the company

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience optimising large-scale AI/ML systems in production • Hands-on knowledge of LLMs, transformer architectures and the trade-offs involved in deployment • Strong software engineering fundamentals • Python proficiency • Familiarity with MLOps tooling such as MLflow, Weights & Biases or Ray • Experience with cloud AI infrastructure on AWS, GCP or Azure • Experience with inference serving frameworks such as vLLM, TGI or TorchServe • A structured, data-driven approach to problem-solving • Good communication skills
