📋 Description

• Develop and enhance backend features using Python and Django • Work on building the new pricing strategy engine • Implement business rules related to the activation of strategies, services, routes, and validity periods • Develop automatic trip creation • Model and evolve entities, relationships, and rules using Django ORM • Build and optimize QuerySets using features such as select_related and prefetch_related • Create and manage Django migrations • Develop and maintain APIs using Django REST Framework • Work with ViewSets, nested serializers, custom actions, and permissions • Develop and maintain asynchronous tasks using Celery • Create idempotent, observable tasks with retry policies • Develop and maintain automated tests and contribute to the regression test suite • Work with PostgreSQL, including data modeling and query optimization for high-volume tables • Investigate issues in existing code, formulate hypotheses, and implement solutions safely • Participate in code reviews, pull requests, and technical discussions • Work in pairing sessions and collaboratively develop solutions • Contribute to technical decisions and the evolution of the backend architecture • Collaborate with the team to understand business rules and translate them into technical solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Strong professional experience with Python and backend development • Experience with Django and Django ORM • Knowledge of QuerySets, select_related, prefetch_related, and migrations • Experience with Django REST Framework • Knowledge of ViewSets, nested serializers, custom actions, and permissions • Experience with Celery and asynchronous task development • Knowledge of idempotency, observability, and retry policies for asynchronous tasks • Experience with automated testing and regression discipline • Experience with PostgreSQL • Knowledge of data modeling and query optimization • Ability to work with high-volume data tables • Ability to read, understand, and enhance existing code • Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate reasoning while solving problems • Ability to work collaboratively and in pairing sessions • Openness to receiving and exchanging technical guidance • Experience with Redis and caching strategies (a plus) • Experience with Docker (a plus) • Production experience with Kubernetes (a plus) • Experience with BigQuery and dbt (a plus) • Experience consolidating or migrating between databases (a plus) • Experience integrating with third-party APIs (a plus) • Interest in or experience with frontend development (a plus)
