📋 Description

• Lead frontend architecture and technical direction for the self-serve onboarding and platform experience • Spend approximately 80% of hands-on coding time on frontend and 20% on backend, adapting as priorities change • Partner with Design to take onboarding and platform experiences from concept to production • Mentor engineers and raise the frontend engineering bar • Establish frontend conventions and quality standards, including architecture reviews, code quality, and testing approaches • Contribute to the Python backend to unblock frontend work or deliver end-to-end features • Shape what the newly formed Growth team builds and how it operates

🎯 Requirements

• Strong, proven frontend expertise • Production experience architecting and building complex frontend applications • Comfortable being the most senior frontend voice and challenging design or product decisions when needed • Some backend experience • Genuine willingness to work in a Python codebase • Experience mentoring other engineers • Experience building or integrating payment products is nice to have, not required • Experience with growth, onboarding, or activation-focused product surfaces is nice to have, not required • Must be based in Portugal, Hungary, Poland, Romania, or South Africa • Must have working rights in the country of residence
