📋 Description

• Monitor merchant integration and payment performance, including authorisation rates, network tokenisation coverage, and routing configuration • Identify risks proactively and recommend routing, network-tokenisation, and configuration changes • Investigate complex technical issues involving failures, SDK conflicts, webhook gaps, logs, traces, and API behaviour • Own technical escalations during incidents affecting key merchants in close coordination with Support • Deliver root-cause analyses, explain incident impacts, and recommend preventive measures to merchants • Lead technical deep-dives and solution-design sessions for new PSP connectors, payment methods, and unreleased products • Manage rollout expectations and provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering • Conduct recurring technical integration reviews with merchant engineering and payments stakeholders • Translate card scheme rule and regional regulatory changes into concrete technical plans • Coordinate with Primer engineering, product, support, and account management teams

🎯 Requirements

• Deep, hands-on technical ability, including reading API logs and traces, debugging integration issues, and writing basic scripts/SQL • Experience in a technical, merchant/customer-facing role such as Technical Account Manager, Solutions Engineer, Support Engineer, technical Customer Success Manager, or Implementation Specialist • Experience in payments, fintech, or e-commerce • Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and SDKs • Ability to explain technical flows clearly to engineers and non-technical stakeholders • Proactive approach to identifying and surfacing risks • Confidence presenting technical material to senior technical stakeholders • Ability to coordinate across engineering, product, and support teams • Direct experience with payments infrastructure, including network tokenisation, PSP connectors/routing, or card scheme mechanics • Experience supporting beta or early-access product rollouts • Ability to work remotely in a globally distributed environment
