📋 Description

• Own solution architecture across UI, backend services, APIs/integrations, databases, cloud infrastructure, and security • Translate business needs into current-state, transition-state, and target-state designs • Design and guide modernization of PHP 7/8 MVC or singleton framework applications with Vue.js 2 or 3 front ends • Architect and develop RESTful APIs following OpenAPI standards, including integration, authentication, versioning, and error handling • Design data and caching strategies using MongoDB and Redis, including schema design, performance, replication, and backup/restore • Design and deploy secure, scalable AWS architectures using EC2 and ECS, networking, IAM, and Docker • Establish observability, high-availability, and disaster-recovery patterns • Lead investigations into performance, security, and integration issues • Mentor engineers and lead design reviews • Communicate architectural decisions to technical and executive stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience in software/platform engineering, including leadership in solution or enterprise architecture • Strong hands-on experience with PHP 7/8 using an MVC or singleton framework • Vue.js 2 or 3 required • Proven experience building and integrating RESTful APIs to OpenAPI standards • Practical experience with MongoDB and Redis, including performance, replication, and data integrity considerations • Core AWS knowledge: EC2, ECS, networking for application deployment, IAM, and Docker/container platforms • Ability to produce clear architecture documentation and explain trade-offs, risks, and decisions to technical and nontechnical audiences • Proven judgment balancing strategic architecture with incremental delivery, legacy constraints, and operational realities • Agentic AI experience is nice to have • Architecture or cloud certifications such as TOGAF or AWS Solutions Architect are nice to have • Experience modernizing monolithic platforms into modular, API-led, containerized, or cloud-native systems is nice to have • Performance testing/capacity engineering experience, e.g. JMeter, is nice to have • Application security or penetration testing exposure, e.g. Burp Suite, is nice to have • Applicants are asked whether they are based in Poland • Availability for working hours from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm local time to overlap with US hours • Consent to a background check if offered
