📋 Description

• Discover the real business need behind client requests, including problems, desired outcomes, constraints, and business value • Constructively challenge proposed solutions when better approaches exist • Investigate product architecture, data models, business rules, algorithms, integrations, configuration options, and technical constraints • Design solutions balancing client needs, implementation effort, maintainability, and long-term product direction • Make independent decisions and explain trade-offs to clients and developers • Determine when client-specific requests should become reusable product capabilities • Work with developers and AI tools to explore options, validate assumptions, and refine technical designs • Use SQL to investigate data, test hypotheses, troubleshoot issues, and support decisions • Read and trace existing code to understand system behaviour, identify root causes, and assess proposed changes • Analyse complex workflows and algorithms, including edge cases, dependencies, and failure scenarios • Define acceptance criteria and create test plans • Run stakeholder demos and solution discussions • Maintain documentation focused on decisions, business rules, and system behaviour

🎯 Requirements

• Senior-level experience in business and/or systems analysis in complex software products • Strong logical and systems thinking • Ability to break down complex problems, trace dependencies, and reason about edge cases • Ability to distinguish a client’s stated solution from the underlying business need • Confidence to challenge requests constructively and propose better solutions • Strong product judgment balancing client needs with product consistency, scalability, and long-term direction • Ability to make decisions with incomplete information while making assumptions and risks explicit • Persistence to follow problems across business processes, data, configuration, integrations, and code • Ability to explain what should change and why an approach is better than alternatives • Confidence taking accountability for solution decisions • Experience using SQL to analyse and troubleshoot data • Technical understanding sufficient to read and trace existing code and reason about system behaviour • Strong spoken and written English • Legal right to work in the EU • Calm, constructive, and dependable working style
