📋 Description

• Schedule patient appointments and manage provider calendars • Communicate with patients via phone, email, and patient portals • Update and maintain Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) • Verify insurance eligibility and assist with authorizations • Support billing, claims follow-up, and documentation • Prepare intake forms, medical reports, and correspondence • Coordinate between providers, staff, and patients • Follow HIPAA and U.S. healthcare compliance standards

🎯 Requirements

• Healthcare background required (Medical Assistant, Medical Admin, Nurse Assistant, Medical VA, or similar) • Experience with EMR/EHR systems (Epic, Athena, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, etc.) • Strong medical terminology knowledge • Advanced English (written & spoken) • High attention to detail and confidentiality • Reliable high-speed internet and quiet workspace • Preferred Experience supporting U.S. healthcare providers • Mental health, primary care, or specialty clinic experience • Insurance verification or billing experience • Bilingual English/Spanish
