• Own MEAWW’s social media strategy, daily publishing, audience growth, and real-time coverage across platforms. • Lead daily social media publishing across Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms, ensuring timely and high-quality output. • Identify viral stories, breaking news, and trending topics across U.S. entertainment and politics, and guide the team on real-time coverage. • Manage and mentor the social media team, assign tasks, review posts, and maintain strong editorial and visual standards across all content. • Coordinate with editors, writers, and video teams to streamline workflows and support fast-turnaround content. • Track daily analytics, monitor KPIs, and use insights to optimize posting patterns, formats, headlines, and thumbnails. • Ensure strict adherence to MEAWW’s brand guidelines, editorial accuracy, compliance rules, and platform best practices.
• 3–5 years of experience in social media management, digital news, or audience engagement roles. • Proven expertise in running high-volume social media pages for a news or entertainment brand. • Strong understanding of U.S. entertainment, celebrity culture, trending news, and social platforms. • Proficiency with Meta Business Suite, Twitter/X tools, YouTube Studio, TikTok insights, and scheduling tools. • Excellent written communication, headline-writing, and trend-spotting skills. • Ability to manage a team, work under pressure, and handle rapid turnarounds. • Prior night shift experience or comfort with U.S.-aligned working hours.
