• Expand networks, influence, and Pula’s positioning in the region • Build deeply entrenched relationships to understand client needs, gather market intelligence, and develop a credible pipeline • Communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals • Act as Pula’s spokesperson in the region • Identify and develop unique selling propositions and differentiators using market and competitor knowledge • Define regional commercial objectives and own the results • Research, prepare, and execute a sales plan focused on new and recurring revenues through partnerships with agro-input companies, the public sector, and development organizations • Develop, mature, and qualify the sales pipeline to increase market share and achieve sales targets across insurance, data services, and consulting offerings • Generate and qualify leads and determine which opportunities to pursue • Progress prospects through the sales process to contracting and implementation • Manage and nurture client relationships with commodity associations, farmer aggregators, insurers, governments, development organizations, and private companies • Handover new customers to the operations team for solution implementation • Develop and execute regional commercial strategy, negotiate contracts, and achieve revenue and growth targets • Build relationships with governments, development partners, insurers, financial institutions, agribusinesses, and strategic stakeholders • Represent Pula in the market, gather competitive intelligence, and strengthen brand presence • Support successful programme implementation and long-term account growth • Set and monitor commercial objectives and KPIs, maintain CRM accuracy, analyse market and sales data, forecast opportunities, and report on performance
• Experience in strong demonstrable sales to development agencies, governments and/or financial institutions • Demonstrable success working against a sales quota target • Experience working with development agencies and/or government officials at all levels and navigating government structures • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions • Self-directed, highly results oriented, and able to work independently or in a team structure • Willingness to learn and expand technical and product knowledge through formal education, professional training, and self-study • Knowledge of dealing with C-suite executives • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Integrity and impeccable professionalism • Understanding of, or strong interest in, digital public infrastructure for farmers, including farmer registries, digital identity, and data platforms • Sales and/or consulting experience in agriculture, including seed, fertilizer, agrochemical, or related industries, is a significant advantage • Experience and knowledge in the insurance industry is advantageous • Ability to use data and KPIs to make management decisions • Comfortable using sales CRM platforms and Google Drive applications such as Google Sheets and Google Docs
