📋 Description

• Develop an exhaustive understanding of customer business drivers and decision-making motivations • Connect technology solutions to measurable customer business outcomes • Partner with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to create customer strategies that drive revenue growth and net-new business • Present the advantages of Everpure solutions • Refine sales strategy and tactics while taking command of technical responsibilities • Provide technical leadership and domain expertise across storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and DAS, NAS, and SAN offerings • Manage evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations • Build and deliver technical product and architecture presentations to customers and prospective accounts • Capture requirements and translate customer business needs into solutions • Author RFI and RFP responses • Pursue interoperability, functional, and performance testing and validation opportunities • Promote roadmap and planning exchanges • Collaborate with product and technical marketing to produce whitepapers and web presentations • Monitor competitors and maintain accurate solution-positioning materials • Track market trends and competitive developments to promote thought leadership • Model Everpure values of Persistence, Creativity, Teamwork, Ownership, and Customer-first

🎯 Requirements

• Pre-sales experience is required • 5 or more years of relevant experience across technology, design, and communications • Experience supporting sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts preferred • Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions • Experience targeting new prospects and converting them into clients • Experience contributing to or leading RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses • Superior knowledge of storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN • Knowledge of Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environments • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP is a plus • Experience with distributed computing, multiprocessing, virtual memory, storage subsystems, shared memory, cache architectures, and windowing systems • Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures is a plus • Strong knowledge of Cloud Native architecture, On-Prem, Public Cloud, Provisioning Automation, and Containers • Knowledge of VMware, Local Area Networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking • Fluency in German and English is required • BS in CS, EE, or another technical degree and/or equivalent experience • Familiarity with modern web architecture, including LAMP stack, scale-out vs. scale-up architectures, AWS Well-Architected Framework, and microservices architecture, is a plus • Familiarity with storage-intensive applications, including SQL and Oracle structured databases, is highly desirable
