📋 Description

• Pilot sales and adoption of Everpure solutions with enterprise prospects and existing customers • Understand customer business goals and pain points and propose creative solutions with alliance partners • Collaborate with pre-sales, sales, partner sales and enablement, marketing, and leadership teams to grow business across the Everpure portfolio • Develop an exhaustive understanding of Queensland customers’ businesses and decision-making drivers • Connect technology solutions to measurable customer business outcomes • Partner with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to drive revenue growth and net new business • Advocate for the advantages of Everpure solutions • Refine sales strategy and tactics while owning technical responsibilities • Provide technical leadership and domain expertise across storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and DAS, NAS, and SAN offerings • Lead evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations • Build and deliver technical product and architecture presentations to customers and prospective accounts • Capture requirements and translate business needs into innovative solutions • Author responses to RFIs and RFPs • Drive interoperability, functional, and performance testing and validation opportunities • Promote roadmap and planning exchanges • Work with product and technical marketing to produce whitepapers and web presentations • Monitor competitors and maintain accurate differentiated solution positioning • Track market trends and promote thought leadership • Travel regularly to meet customers, partners, and internal stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Pre-sales experience covering Queensland customers is required • 5 or more years of relevant experience across technology, design, and communications required • Experience supporting sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts preferred • Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions • Experience targeting new prospects and converting them into clients • Experience contributing to or leading RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses • Superior knowledge of storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN • Knowledge of Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environments • Experience installing/configuring distributed computing, multiprocessing, virtual memory, storage subsystems, shared memory, cache, and windowing systems • Strong knowledge of Cloud Native architecture, On-Prem, Public Cloud, Provisioning Automation, and Containers • Knowledge of VMware, Local Area Networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills • BS in CS, EE or another technical degree and/or equivalent experience • Familiarity with modern web architecture, including LAMP stack, scale-out vs. scale-up architectures, AWS Well-Architected Framework, and microservices architecture • Familiarity with storage-intensive applications and structured databases such as SQL and Oracle is highly desirable • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP is a plus • Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures is a plus • Curiosity and passion for technology and explaining new technology platforms and concepts to customers
