📋 Description

• Support and take ownership of assigned month-end tasks across group entities, including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations • Help maintain the general ledger and support reporting across the Australian parent and subsidiaries • Prepare GST/BAS and other core compliance obligations • Support AR and AP teams, resolve issues and provide cover where needed • Perform bank, balance sheet and control account reconciliations; investigate and clear variances • Maintain accurate records and transactions in NetSuite • Assist with ad hoc reporting, analysis and process improvement • Report directly to the Senior Financial Accountant

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Commerce • 2–3 years of accounting experience, with exposure across GL, AR and AP • Prior month-end experience and understanding of the underlying logic • Working knowledge of GST/BAS and core compliance • Solid Excel skills • Strong written and verbal English, essential for working with the Australia-based team • High attention to detail, well-organised and deadline-driven • Some exposure to or understanding of external/statutory audit • Experience supporting an Australian company or Australian clients • Experience across a group/multiple entities • NetSuite experience or another ERP such as SAP, Oracle or MYOB • Comfortable collaborating with an overseas team across time zones • Reliable and discreet when handling sensitive financial information • Ability to work Australian Business Hours
